Dr. Jason Ju, BHSc,DCh - Podiatrist/Owner
Jason is a licensed podiatrist who has been practicing since 2011. He graduated from The Michener Institute in Toronto, and has a Bachelor of Health Science degree from The University of Western Ontario. He began his career at Toronto General Hospital in the Diabetic Ulcer Clinic and has extensive knowledge in managing diabetic foot complications.
Jason has a special interest in podiatric biomechanics, foot pain, and diabetic foot care. He is passionate about educating his patients and staying up-to-date with the most recent evidence-based practice.
When Jason is out of the office, he can be found in the gym playing basketball, golfing, and playing with his two children.
Estelle is originally from the tropical island of Mauritius. She completed BSC (Hons) in Podiatry at the University of Southampton,UK. She then worked for the National Health Service on the Isle of Wight for almost 3 years practising the various scopes of Podiatry.
Whilst working she completed her post graduate certification focusing on the treatment of Diabetes and wound care. When not at work, she spends time at the gym, outdoors, and travelling.
Dr. Ronald James Barron, DPM - Podiatrist
Ron grew up in the Northern Ontario town of Kapuskasing before moving to Toronto as a 10-year-old. He studied at Laurentian University and in Orthotics and Prosthetics Technology at George Brown College – working in this field for more than a decade. After running his own orthopedic fabrication business for several years, Ron pursued medical studies in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University.
Following his podiatry studies, Ron completed a surgical internship in Monroe, Michigan with Dr. Scott Hughes. Ron then relocated to NYC to complete 18 months of residency training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Interfaith Medical Center and Brookdale University Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Ron has a very strong background in the management of various lower extremity issues, with a particular interest in surgery. This includes various digital and nail procedures, cyst excisions, wart excisions, neuroma excisions, tendon lengthening, and other procedures, Durolane joint injections, cortisone injections, plantar fasciotomies, and many other soft tissue surgical procedures of the foot. His knowledge is also extensive in the use of advanced wound healing grafts: Appligraf, Dermagraft, and Epifix, as well as the use of wound vacs and bone stimulators. Ron is experienced in the use of the Hyprocure stent to correct a reducible flat foot.
